What is matching gift program?
A matching gift program is a corporate philanthropy initiative in which a company agrees to match the charitable donations made by its employees to eligible non-profit organizations. In such programs, when an employee donates to a non-profit organization, the company pledges to contribute an additional amount of money, usually on a one-to-one basis, effectively doubling the employee's donation.
